Varsity Sports Sweater

 

A lovely example of a 1960s-era varsity sports sweater. In a vibrant purple with a contrast gold two-stripe arm. The stripes on the arm signify the years the wearer has been chosen to play for the varsity teams in their given sports. These would often be accompanied by letters or badges identifying the team name or sport chosen. A star would be given to the team captain 

 

As with any item of this age expect plenty of age-related marks and signs of wear.
