AWMS x Worne Dibnah Jacket – Ecru

£129.00Price
  • Our latest release is a collaboration with our friends at AWMS Clothing: a classic piece of British workwear in the form of The Dibnah Jacket.

Taking its moniker and style cues from the legendary Lancastrian engineer, steeplejack and TV personality Fred Dibnah, whose plain speaking and enthusiasm for British industrial innovation & simple mechanics were a mainstay on our tellies growing up.

Unlike its continental cousins, the traditional English work jacket features a small revere collar and roll-back lapel instead of buttoning up to the throat, while utilising the same stout hardwearing cotton. Our version is made from washed and pre-shrunk cross-weave “Half Panama” sailcloth: as tough as it is soft, in a “Bleu De Travail” referencing Navy and a natural undyed ecru.

Made in the same English workwear factory as our popular Artist Smocks, the Dibnah Jacket is built with three patch pockets, an internal breast pocket, hidden pen pocket, all reinforced with extra stitching, and we have sourced deadstock removable “Butcher” buttons for removing for laundering.

Limited to fifty pieces across the two colourways and available here and from AWMS webstore.
