USN G-8 WEP Flight Jacket

USN G-8 WEP Flight Jacket

The G-8 WEP flight jacket was issued to US Navy and US Marine Corps fighter pilots from the 1950s to the 1970s. Originally designed to be worn under exposure suits, its lightweight nylon construction led to its adoption as a casual piece for off-duty pilots. Truly a rare piece of US aviation clothing.

– Knitted cuffs and collar

– Nylon outer

– Two large front pockets

– Original Talon zip

– Arm pocket

Over all in good condition for its age, some damage to the knitted cuffs and rust marks on the pocket snaps
